Cooling down the Carlton Club

The Carlton Club in Whalley Range just got even cooler!

Is your pub, club or social space feeling a little too hot to handle? Then you might be interested to learn about the Carlton Club, who needed a solution to keep their building cool that wouldn’t drown out their music or kill the conversation! With the help of In Our Nature Community Support and some ancient know-how, The Carlton Club have created a cool, comfortable space to enjoy, without the need for energy-intensive air-con, helping them to save money and reduce their carbon emissions too.

"Now our clubbers, DJ's, musicians, performers, staff and members can enjoy a more comfortable environment, we have been able to increase our capacity."

Check out the video below where Chris Fox from the Carlton Club explains how they did it, as well as the benefits and considerations.

This initiative was helped through In Our Nature’s Community Support, and you can find out more about this and other projects we’ve supported by clicking here.
